Thanks a lot, they are sometimes hard to come by.. they say not to take a photograph of the moment you think is perfect, wait a split second cause it's the reaction after that will be the one.

That's a surprisingly nice bokeh for f/5.6. What kind of lens is this?

Thanks. :D
I use a 55-200 mm zoom lens. I find that if I use the full mm focusing on the subject, the bokeh comes naturally.. of course that does not always work but it seems to a majority of the time.
For this photo's and many recent ones, I don't even try to get bokeh anymore.. I was into that for a while but  now I could care less if it happens.

It's a surprisingly nice image from a kit lens. I would be interested to see the same shot at 200mm with a nicer f/2.8.

Well the lens did not come with the camera, bought it separately and it cost 200.00
Thanks though.. yeah I'm hoping to be able to purchase a new camera and lens soon, mine are a tad out of date.

A 70-200 f/2.8 will give you a huge jump in sharpness over your kit lens, and let you use faster shutter speeds and shoot in lower light since it has a much larger aperture, with a nicer bokeh. The Nikkor brand 70-200 is quite expensive, but you could get a Tamron brand version for less than half the Nikkor one.

Wow this looks real close to a series of dreams I had when I was very young. Just no trees in it. Creepy :fear:. Great capture by the way :)

That's how life is eh? And sorry for the late llama. I swear I gave you one before but I guess I didn't. You have no idea how nostalgic this deviation is though. Brings back memories...
